The gziped tar ball contains the pre-built Linux images for the board platformThese pre-built images, source code and configurations are provided for demonstration purposes only and may not be suitable outside of a development environment, including for production purposes.
Prior to production and deployment of any Linux-based system, it is recommended that all relevant security updates are applied, and a mechanism for in-field updates is made available throughout the lifetime of the relevant product

Release Git Tags
The Xilinx Git repositories, U-Boot and Linux, are tagged for the release with a tag of xilinx-v2017.2FSBL
The First Stage Boot Loader (FSBL) used to generate the boot.bin file is based on the 2017.2 release of the Xilinx tools.
U-Boot
The release is based on U-Boot 2017.01 created from the xilinx-v2017.2 tag.

Linux
The release is based on a 4.9 Linux kernel created from the xilinx-v2017.2 tag.
