12x8MP Reference Design

The VEK385 Multi-Camera Automotive 12×8MP Reference Design integrates up to 12 MIPI 4‑lane captures and MCM ISP processing split between APU (A78) and RPUs (R52). Captured video from 12 IMX728 8MP sensors is processed through the ISP pipeline on a Versal AI Edge Gen 2 device at up to 15fps per sensor.

12x-ISP Reference Design

The VEK385 Multi-Camera Automotive 12×-ISP Reference Design integrates up to 12 concurrent MIPI camera captures — 8× 3MP IMX623 (MCM at 30fps), 2× 8MP IMX728 (20fps), and 2× 5MP OX05B1S RGB+IR (30fps) — with ISP processing distributed across multiple tiles on a Versal AI Edge Gen 2 device.

Dual VM GPU Video Stitching Reference Design

The VEK385 Dual VM GPU Video Stitching Reference Design leverages Xen hypervisor-based GPU partitioning of the Mali G78AE to run two independent virtual machines on a single Versal AI Edge Gen 2 device. VM0 captures 4× MIPI IMX623 (195° FOV) sensors at 1080p@30fps, processes them through the ISP pipeline, and performs GPU-accelerated surround-view stitching displayed over HDMI-2.1 Tx. VM1 independently runs GPU graphics benchmarks over DisplayPort 1.4 — both VMs operating simultaneously without interference.
