2019.1 Release


These pre-built images, source code and configurations are provided for demonstration purposes only and may not be suitable outside of a development environment, including for production purposes.

Prior to production and deployment of any Linux-based system, it is recommended that all relevant security updates are applied, and a mechanism for in-field updates is made available throughout the lifetime of the relevant product

Release Git Tags

The Xilinx Git repositories, U-Boot are tagged for the release with a tag of xilinx-v2019.1 and Linux with tag of xlnx_rebase_v4.19_2019.1 .


FSBL
The First Stage Boot Loader (FSBL) used to generate the boot.bin file is based on the 2019.1 release of the Xilinx tools.

U-Boot

The release is based on a v2018.01 U-Boot created from the xilinx-v2019.1 tag.

Linux
The release is based on a 4.19 Linux kernel created from the xilinx-v2019.1 tag.

Device-tree Generator
For Vivado 2019.1 please use new device-tree generator available in https://github.com/Xilinx/device-tree-xlnx repository.

Experimental package feeds (For ZCU102, zcu104, and zcu106 Board):

MPSoC prebuilt images have RPM package update feed mechanism. This is "experimental" flow for this release.
